Numtrek ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Numtrek mobile application (the "App").
This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Game Progress – levels completed, stars and best times, stored under a random anonymous player ID generated on your device. This ID is not linked to your name, email or any account, and is used only to save and restore your progress.
- Advertising Data – our advertising partner Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the iOS Advertising Identifier or Android Advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data to show, measure and limit ads. On iOS the Advertising Identifier is only used if you allow tracking when asked; in the EEA and UK personalised ads are only shown with your consent.
- Device Information – device model, operating system version, and language, as needed to serve ads and keep the App compatible.
- Usage Data – which levels you start, finish or leave, stars earned, hints and rewarded ads used, collected through Google Analytics for Firebase under a random app-instance ID. We use it only in aggregate to see where the game is too hard or too easy. It is not used to identify you or to track you across other apps.
- Crash Reports – when the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics records the error, the device model and OS version so we can fix the bug.
- Ad Campaign Measurement – we advertise Numtrek on Facebook and Instagram. To learn which of our ads led to an install, the App sends Meta Platforms (through the Meta SDK) the fact that it was installed and opened, when you finish the tutorial and when you reach a new level, together with device information, your IP address and, where available, your device's Advertising ID. On iOS the Advertising ID is only included if you allow tracking when asked. Meta uses this to measure our ads and to show them to people likely to enjoy the game. This is not done in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland.
We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g. contacting support). The App has no accounts and no sign-in.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and maintain the App
- To understand how players interact with the game and improve gameplay
- To detect and fix bugs and crashes
- To display relevant advertisements (served by third-party ad networks)
- To measure and improve our own ads for Numtrek on Facebook and Instagram
3. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services that collect information. These services have their own privacy policies:
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside parties beyond the services listed above.
4. Data Retention
Game progress linked to the anonymous player ID is kept while you play and deleted on request; uninstalling the App
removes the ID from your device. Data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase is retained according to Google's policies (Google Analytics data for up to 14 months, crash reports for 90 days). Data sent to Meta is retained according to Meta's privacy policy.
We do not store personally identifiable information on our servers.
5. Children's Privacy
Numtrek is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us
and we will promptly delete it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Opt out of personalised advertising: on iOS, deny or revoke tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android, delete or reset your Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads; in the EEA/UK you can change your ad consent at any time
- See and disconnect the activity Meta receives from apps such as Numtrek: if you have a Facebook or Instagram account, open Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Your activity off Meta technologies

7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission
over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on this page.
